Loading for rearmost CG : 500 kg bomb, 160 lb. ballast in the FT area (2.95 m behind center front spar).
a)   2 x 50 kg wood bombs with mounting brackets as per SK 8752
b)   1000 kg wood bomb

1. Level speeds with a 1000 kg mine bomb (wood).
2. Level speeds with 2 x 50 kg bombs (wood) per wing.
3. Flight characteristics with the 50-kg bombs and brackets as per SK. 8752.

1. The flights to determine the level speeds were conducted with a wooden bomb, in order not to have to drop the bombs on each landing. As the attached graph shows, the speed loss caused by a 1,000 kg bomb is 20-21 mph (32-34 km/h) at combat power.
2.+3. The 4 x 50 kg bombs with the wing racks also results in a level speed loss of 20-21 mph (32-34 km/h) at n = 2400 rpm. Regarding flight characteristics these bomb racks are alright. Separation phenomena, causing a disturbance of flow at the aileron, did not occur.

The flight testing of this machine is completed.
